Alberta: Spring Road Bans

Spring is here and so are some road bans and oversize weight limits in Alberta, Canada.

Starting Thursday, March 5th at 12:01 am, Spring season weights for heavy haul and Period 1 season weights for service rigs will come into effect on roads south of and including Township 28. Alberta Transportation Road Ban Order 26 – Road – 02 comes into effect at 1:00 P.M.

Winter season weights for heavy haul and Period 4 season weights for service rigs remain in effect north of the thaw line.
